About

Independent software consultant based in Berlin. TypeScript, AWS, and the organizational shapes around them.

I’m Ayhan Sipahi, a software consultant based in Berlin.

I help product teams ship software systems that keep working after the team that built them has moved on. Most of my work is TypeScript and AWS: application code, CDK infrastructure, and how the two fit together.

I write here when something I learned was expensive enough that I’d want someone else to learn it cheaper. Currently noodling on domain-driven TypeScript and CDK pattern libraries.

This site, sph.sh, is short for Software Project Hub. It is where that work is documented: 200+ posts across 13 series since September 2025, every one published in both English and Turkish. New here? Start with the most-read posts: TypeScript formatting and linting tools compared, career levels in tech, or when to skip the MCP layer.
